Inspiration and Information Night for Catholic Homeschool Parents

Sister Rose Marie Adams, I.H.M., Director of Evangelization and Catechesis, invites you to join her for an evening of inspiration and information for Catholic homeschool parents in the Raleigh/Cary area.  Ministering to homeschool families is a cherished part of Sister Rose's responsibilities in the Diocese of Raleigh.

Place: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Fallon Center 2718 Overbrook Drive, Raleigh, N.C. 27608, 919-861-4600

Please bring:  A cup of coffee, a pen and notepad, nursing babies, but your kids will be happier staying at home for the evening.

Annual Homeschool Mass with the Bishop
was celebrated Saturday Sept. 13 2008
All Homeschool Families of the Diocese of Raleigh (not just ARCH members...) gathered for their annual Mass with Bishop Burbidge on Saturday September 13th in Raleigh. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and to pray with other homeschoolers from around the diocese.

End of Year Picnic!

Our rainy (monsoon-like) picnic was June 3rd from 3- 7 in North Raleigh

but several families braved the weather to make it a day to remember! Thanks!


Our May Crowning at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church

the First Friday May 4, 2007 was a success even in the rain!

Marian Songs, Procession with May Poles to Mary, Adornment with May flowers, Crowning of Mary, and prayers continued our fine tradition.


Homeschool Information Night April 30 at Our Lady of Lourdes Fallon Center was a great success. Many newcomers from Raleigh and Cary came out to learn more about Catholic homeschooling and our support group.To learn when our next Info night will be contact-


Our Bishop Burbidge celebrated Mass for a crowd of nearly 400 in our welcome Mass and Reception for him held Feb 24, 2007. The Bishop encouraged us with words taken directly from the Rite of Baptism, "You will be the first teachers of your children in the ways of faith. May you always be the best of teachers." For here
